My Motorcycle Trailer

For Christmas, my wonderful wife gave me a trailer.
It is a CarMate brand trailer.
The interior measures just over fifteen feet long
and just slightly smaller than six feet wide.
The height is about six and a half feet.
I love this trailer.
I've included some pictures for you to view....

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!

Merry Christmas

Here I am walking around the corner at my parents house.  You can see by my look that I've just received an AWESOME Christmas Present.

Outside View of Trailer

Here's the exterior of the trailer.  I really like the diamond plate stone guard.

Inside View
Here's a view of the trailer interior.  You'll note I've installed a rubber mat for flooring.  Sam's Wholesale Club sells the mat as a garage floor lining.  It is made by a company called Better Life Technology.  It seems to work really well.  I've also installed a few homemade items.  I had a bunch of electrical conduit laying around so I created a tie-down rack and a paper towel rack.  You'll see close-ups below.

Tie-Down Rack

Here's the tie-down rack.
It's a pretty simple thing that should work really well.  A piece of conduit, a few elbows and two mounting plates and your ready to go.

Paper towel rack

This one is really simple.
Same idea as the tie-down rack
but smaller.  I put a big washer
under the towels to let them
spin freely without binding.

wheel mounts

I installed the quick release mounting hardware made for Pingel brand wheel chocks.  I'll be using it with my ATK Bike Shoe.  I also installed the Ancra removable tie-down rings.  Here you can see the mounting hardware installed in the trailer.  We'll be sleeping in the trailer so I wanted everything on the floor removable for room.

in the quick release mounts.
You can also see the Ancra rings installed.

Update

I've been busy lately.  I found the door shelves I wanted and I found a great cabinet.  I also rewired my trucks trailer hitch so that I have power to my trailer's interior light all the time.  I have tested it for six hours and the truck started the next day without any trouble.

Corner Cabinet

Here's my new corner cabinet.  While browsing one day at Home Depot I found a corner cabinet and the size was just what I needed.  I comes in pieces and you build it which I feel is more than half the fun.

Here's an inside view of the cabinet.

Door Details
Here's the fine organization on
the side door of the trailer.

While wandering around a Lowe's
in Newport News one day I found
the door racks I had been searching
for.  It seems no other stores had
any in stock and I found a close-out
deal that was just great.  I bought every
door rack they had.
Not bad for $1.74 a rack...

Check off list
Some guys asked what this
was in the previous picture.
This is a dry erase board that I use to make sure I pack everything I need for a race.  I can also write reminders on the bottom.

Liquid storage
Here's the fuel and water storage.
You can also see my bench I use
for changing clothes.
It's a great place to sit.
It's called a Boot Bench
and it's made by a company
called Step2.

heater

I mounted my heater for those cold
nights sleeping in the trailer.
This is a Mr. Heater Portable
Buddy Heater.
 It works really well.
You can run it off a small disposable
propane cylinder of the grill size one.
I bought mine at Norther Tools on a
great sale.

Now I need to get working on the exterior graphics.......
